Stridable

Privacy Policy

Effective date: May 31, 2026
Last updated: May 31, 2026

Who we are

Stridable operates stridable.com, an educational resource website for families navigating dyslexia. This policy applies only to stridable.com.

Information we collect

We collect information you provide directly: your email address when you create an account or sign up for content, and inputs you enter into our screening tool (your state, your child's grade level, the screening instrument used, and the areas flagged in results). We do not collect your child's name or any information that directly identifies your child.

We also collect standard usage data automatically — pages visited, browser type, and general site interactions — through analytics tools we use to improve the site.

How we use your information

We use the information we collect to operate the site, generate personalized guidance through our screening tool, send you content or account-related communications you requested, and improve our service. We do not use your information for advertising or behavioral targeting, and we do not sell your data.

Third parties

We work with third-party service providers to operate this site, including hosting, database infrastructure, email delivery, and AI processing. These providers receive only the data necessary to perform their function. We do not share your information with third parties for advertising, remarketing, or data monetization purposes.

Children's privacy

Stridable is directed at parents and caregivers, not children. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. When you use our screening tool, you provide information about your child as their parent or caregiver. If you believe a child under 13 has submitted personal information without parental consent, contact us at privacy@stridable.com and we will delete it promptly.

Your rights and choices

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time by emailing privacy@stridable.com. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in any email we send. We will respond to requests within 30 days.

California residents have additional rights under the CCPA, including the right to know what personal information we collect and the right to request deletion. We do not sell personal information.

Data retention

We retain your information for as long as needed to provide the services you requested or as required by law. You may request deletion at any time by emailing privacy@stridable.com.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our site evolves. When we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of stridable.com after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
